Our Drawing and Painting Class is designed specifically for children who are beginning their art journey. The teaching process used for the classes is kid-tested and will be step by step but will leave enough room for your child to bring in his/her creativity to the projects. Through unique drawing and painting projects, your child will get introduced to the various mediums including but not restricted to colour pencils, oil pastels, watercolors, pencil work and poster colour too. The course curriculum includes drawing using shapes, numbers, dot paintings, animal and human drawings, pattern paintings, resistance paintings. Children will learn to understand composition, proportions, colour schemes and many fundamental aspects of creating a simple artwork. Children will be given information about the materials required for the course: round paint brushes, flat paint brushes, poster colours, colour pencils, oil pastels etc.

Step 1: Drawing
Step 2: Painting
The teaching process used for the drawing portion of the project is a kid tested, step by step method that will both inspire and delight your child into drawing action. This process involves organising shapes and lines together until a recognisable outcome is achieved. After students complete the drawing portion of their project, they will move on to painting the project. Students will learn basic postercolor and watercolor techniques and apply these techniques to complete their project. This course is designed to give young children the tools they need to begin their artistic journey into self expression, reflection and creative thinking. This is a beginning drawing and painting course designed for children ages 3+. No drawing or painting experience necessary. Your children will learn to participate in an activity that cultivates critical thinking skills, develop hand eye coordination and encourages self-expression.
